In recent months, we have faced a difficult but necessary decision regarding our online store deliveries to the United States.
Due to significant changes in U.S. customs regulations, we are no longer able to ship individual webshop orders to the USA. The current trade environment has become increasingly complex, particularly under the administration of Donald Trump, which has tightened customs procedures and import requirements.
Food exports to the United States have become especially challenging. The amount of required documentation has increased substantially, and regulatory processes are more demanding and time-consuming than before. In addition, many shipping companies are no longer willing to handle food products destined for the U.S. because of the stricter compliance requirements and potential risks involved.
For small, individual online orders, the combination of extensive paperwork, higher administrative costs, and limited shipping options has made deliveries disproportionately expensive and slow. Unfortunately, this means that continuing shipments under the current conditions is no longer economically viable for us.
This decision has not been made lightly. We truly value our customers in the United States and deeply appreciate your support over the years. However, in the current regulatory climate, we must prioritize sustainability and practicality in our operations.
We remain hopeful that customs procedures will become clearer and more manageable in the future. As soon as the regulatory situation improves and shipping becomes feasible again, we will immediately reopen deliveries to the United States.
Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support.
